The San Francisco 49ers have officially secured the No. 1 spot in the NFC on the heels of a dominant season.
There have been a few blips along their journey, but they have continued to fight hard to get to their position.
One of the 49ers’ key playmakers is Kyle Juszczyk, who was recently recognized for his efforts by being voted to the Pro Bowl.
As reporter Nick Wagnoner has pointed out, this is the eighth Pro Bowl selection of his career, the most for a fullback in NFL history.

That’s the most by a fullback in league history.

Juszczyk might not necessarily appear in the box score as a valuable contributor, but he means a lot to this team.
While the fullback position has mostly become non-existent in recent history, Juszczyk continues to help his team in whatever way possible.
He is primarily a blocker for Christian McCaffrey, which helps him open lanes to break off for massive runs.
Juszczyk also assists Purdy in the passing game, as he is a valuable blocker in pass protection.
His Pro Bowl nomination is the most recent accomplishment for the highly-regarded fullback.
The 49ers have found a way to utilize him in an era of NFL football that doesn’t view the position as necessary to their success.
Will Juszczyk continue to assist this team on their way to the Super Bowl?
After clinching the first-round bye in the playoffs and postseason home-field advantage, the 49ers are that much closer to getting back to the title game.
It will be interesting to see if any NFC team can unseat them, knowing how dominant they have been in all stages of the game.
