Heading into Week 18 in the NFL, there were a lot of questions to be answered in terms of which teams in the league would be clinching a spot in the NFL playoffs.

With the early games on Sunday officially in the books, the AFC is starting to shape up in terms of what teams will be playoff-bound and what the matchups will be to get the postseason underway.

As expected, the Baltimore Ravens clinched the top seed in the AFC, but the second seed in the conference is still up for grabs and will be determined by the outcome of the AFC East showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

Both teams are already playoff-bound, but they’ll be shooting for the second spot during Sunday’s game in Miami.

Along with the Ravens, Bills, and Dolphins, four other teams in the conference have officially clinched a playoff spot, with the NFL’s Twitter account tweeting out which teams have secured their spot.

Perhaps the most impressive and unexpected of the teams to be headed for the playoffs is the Houston Texans, who were expected to be better this season but not 10-7 on the season with a rookie quarterback leading the way in C.J. Stroud.

The Cleveland Browns making the postseason after everything the team has been through this year, namely the season-ending injuries to Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson, is also an impressive feat, with Joe Flacco resurrecting his career in the NFL.

The Pittsburgh Steelers also deserve some credit for powering through and clinching a spot after what seemed to be a forgettable season for Mike Tomlin and company.
