Tom Brady may or may not be the greatest player in NFL history according to some.

Regardless of how you feel about him, he’s the most accomplished and winningest guy to ever lace them up, and he set a standard that no one else in the league might ever be able to follow.

That’s why when he speaks, everybody listens.

Likewise, that’s why it’s not so usual to see him giving praise to some of his colleagues.

However, as you may know by now, Lamar Jackson isn’t like most quarterbacks.

That’s why the seven-time Super Bowl champion tipped his hat to him, praising him and talking about how he first noticed him when his high school highlights went viral.

“That means a lot coming from you,” Jackson said.

Tom Brady’s praise means so much to Lamar Jackson

Brady: “First time I ever really noticed you was that HS highlight…now you’re doing that at the highest level…you’re the reason why people watch the NFL”

Brady was in awe of how Jackson was able to break his defenders’ ankles, jokingly admitting that he was never able to do something like that and going as far as to say that Jackson is the reason why people watch the NFL now (via Kevin Oestreicher).

Needless to say, the Baltimore Ravens star was moved by those comments, stating that it meant a lot coming from a guy like him.

Jackson is just entering his prime and is already a former MVP, and he’s the favorite to win his second MVP award this season.

He’s perhaps the greatest scrambling QB of all time, and while he still needs to prove that he can get the job done in the playoffs, he might be the most unstoppable dual-threat QB the league has ever seen.
