Heading into the NFL playoffs, the Dallas Cowboys have one of the best defenses in the postseason, with the San Francisco 49ers potentially being the only team in the NFC with a better defense right now.
One of the major concerns of the Cowboys coming into this first-round matchup with the Green Bay Packers is the health of veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who has somewhat resurrected his career in Dallas this season.
Gilmore is currently dealing with a shoulder injury that has made his status questionable for Sunday’s game against the Packers, as he didn’t practice on Wednesday.
According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Gilmore claims to be feeling good at the moment but will likely wear a brace on his shoulder with the expectation of playing against Green Bay during Wild Card Weekend in Dallas.

Obviously, the Cowboys are a much better football team with the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year on the field, as he’ll make it that much more challenging for Jordan Love to make an impact in this game with his receivers.
Even if Gilmore can’t go on Sunday for this playoff matchup in Dallas, the Cowboys will still have a great chance of coming out on top in this game against the Packers, as Micah Parsons and company are, without a doubt, the better all-around football team.
Along with Gilmore being questionable for Sunday’s game, Dallas has some concerns on the offensive line, with Zack Martin (illness) and Tyler Smith (foot) also currently listed as questionable.
