History isn’t on the Miami Dolphins’ side ahead of Saturday night’s clash vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
They haven’t won a single playoff game in 23 years, and while this is a completely different team, that can be a heavy burden.
More than that, the Dolphins haven’t exactly fared well in cold weather lately.
As pointed out in The Carton Show, they’re 0-10 in their past ten games played in temperatures below 40 degrees since 2016.
On top of that, Mike McDaniel’s team only managed to beat one team with a winning record this season, which is obviously another big concern ahead of this game.
Nonetheless, NFL analyst Craig Carton doesn’t think the past should affect this game in any sense.
He stated that the weather is going to be bad for both teams, predicting this would be a low-scoring, close affair, mostly because the Chiefs haven’t been good enough to blow anybody out this season (via The Carton Show):
“This is going to be a low-scoring, very close game. Kansas City hasn’t been good enough offensively to blow anyone out,” Carton said.
“This is going to be a low scoring, very close game. Kansas City hasn’t been good enough offensively to blow anyone out. The weather will not impact the #Dolphins anymore than it impacts Kansas City.”

The Chiefs haven’t been good, but they’re definitely more used to playing in this kind of weather than a team from Southern Florida.
At the end of the day, anything can happen in the playoffs, but it’s hard to trust the Dolphins in these conditions.
