The Los Angeles Dodgers have not been shy about spending money this offseason.
They have already spent over $1 billion on free agents and have formed the most talented team in the league.
LA consistently has one of the highest payrolls in baseball.
They can do that will all the revenue they bring in from playing in Los Angeles.
Now some of the game’s biggest stars are playing for the Dodgers, led by Shohei Ohtani.
Ohtanu signed a 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers.
To try and help get some of that money back, the Dodgers are starting to charge their fans.
According to Eric Stephen, the DodgerFest event that was free last year is now $10 to enter for all fans.

At this event, fans will get to hear from Ohtani and Mookie Betts along with other players.
With all the star power being represented, the Dodgers must have felt it necessary to charge fans to enter.
Most fans will have no issue paying to get the first look at their new-look Dodgers.
You can bet that during the season the Dodgers will have consistent sellouts.
Everyone is going to want to see these players play live.
Over a 162-game season, anything can happen as we have seen.
But, it would be a massive upset if the Dodgers do not win the NL West again next season.
Everything is set up for them to be a great regular-season team.
But, they created this team to win the World Series.
Anything short of a World Series title will be a huge disappointment in LA.
