The Baltimore Ravens have the week off from playing a game after they secured the No. 1 seed in the playoffs this year.

Not only that, the Ravens also got back tight end Mark Andrews in a limited capacity after the team designated him to return from injured reserve.

Andrews suffered a serious ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11 and had surgery a week later.

While that looked like it would end his season, the Ravens always said he might return should they have a deep playoff run.

Although Andrews is still very early in the recovery process and isn’t a lock to return when the Ravens play in a week, head coach John Harbaugh was nevertheless excited about the return of one of his best players.

“We’re excited for Mark,” Harbaugh said, via Ravens reporter Luke Jones. “You always want to see one of your brothers back.”

Oddly enough, the Ravens hadn’t really needed Andrews to win.

Baltimore went on a five-game winning streak after Andrews went down thanks to the play of backup tight end Isaiah Likely and wideouts Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, and Rashod Bateman.

The Ravens rolled through their schedule and finished with the No. 4 scoring offense in the league with MVP candidate Lamar Jackson under center.
