The Los Angeles Rams seemed like they were headed for disaster this season, with Sean McVay’s squad starting the 2023 campaign with an ugly record of 3-6.
All signs pointed to this season being a lost cause for the Rams, as they couldn’t seem to get anything going outside of witnessing rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua having a historic first year in the NFL.
Fortunately, as the season progressed, the Rams were able to turn it on in the second half of the regular season, with the team finishing the season winning seven of their last eight games and clinching a playoff spot as a result.
Along with the team being playoff-bound and a potential superstar emerging in the form of Nacua, the Rams were able to get another solid season out of superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald.
On Friday, Donald earned All-Pro honors for the eighth time in his Hall-of-Fame-caliber career, which puts him in select company, according to Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.
EIGHT All-Pro honors now for @AaronDonald97, tied with the likes of Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, and Bruce Smith for the most by any defensive player in @NFL history.

With Donald now being mentioned in the same breath as Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, and Bruce Smith, the 32-year-old’s legacy continues to grow, as he is making a case to be the greatest defensive player in NFL history.
Even though Donald has flirted with the idea of retirement over the last few years, he continues to play at an elite level and has shown no signs of slowing down, so the Rams might be able to keep him in Los Angeles a little while longer, which is obviously great news for the franchise.
