The Golden State Warriors dynasty might finally be coming to an end as the team currently sits outside the Play-In Tournament picture with an 18-20 record.

The Warriors have been mired in off-court drama throughout the 2023-24 NBA season as Draymond Green served multiple suspensions, while the young players have grumbled about their roles on the team.

Head coach Steve Kerr has found it difficult to balance out lineups between the veterans and young players, leading some to believe that the front office will make some sort of deal before the trade deadline.

It’s nearly impossible for the organization to consider rebuilding given Stephen Curry is still playing at a high level, so Kerr and his staff will need to figure out ways to win games.

Jonathan Kuminga has proven he’s earned more minutes, and even was recently inserted into the starting lineup.

However, that promotion was short-lived as Kerr decided to move him back to the bench via Kendra Andrews of ESPN.

Kerr has tried to fit in Kuminga where he can, though it appears that the young forward will go back to coming off the bench.

Andrew Wiggins’ play this year has been wildly disappointing, but it appears that Kerr still trusts him over a rising player like Kuminga who’s improved in several areas.

If the Warriors want to make a splash move to make one more run with their veteran core, Kuminga would almost have to be the main piece going out though it remains to be seen if the team has hit that point yet.
