The Green Bay Packers rebounded much quicker than people expected after trading away franchise legend Aaron Rodgers in the offseason.

The Packers went into the 2023 NFL season with a young roster on both sides of the field and after some ups and downs now find themselves in the postseason.

Green Bay is considered the underdog against the Dallas Cowboys, who are a legitimate Super Bowl threat, though the team shouldn’t be counted out.

Jordan Love has taken major leaps over the course of the year and will get a chance to prove that he’s the Packers’ long-term quarterback.

The Packers have some other talented young players on the roster like Christian Watson and Jaire Alexander, but the two have been dealing with injuries and were considered questionable for the Cowboys game.

However, both were able to get pregame workouts in and were declared as active, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

“Both Christian Watson and Jaire Alexander are active,” Rapoport reported.

Watson has dealt with injuries all season long but is healthy enough to suit up, while Alexander rolled his ankle in practice and could’ve very easily missed the game.

The two will likely be limited on the field given the nature of their injuries, but having them around is better than the alternative.

Meanwhile, Dallas is fully healthy and will pose several problems for Green Bay as they can dominate a game in multiple ways.

It will be interesting to see how much Watson and Alexander contribute as they Packers will need them to pull off an unlikely upset.
