With the Dallas Cowboys collapsing in the playoffs again, most people expect Mike McCarthy to be fired.
Truth to form, Jerry Jones put even more pressure on McCarthy’s shoulders ahead of the postseason, hinting at evaluating his job security after every playoff game.
Well, if that was actually the case, then there shouldn’t be a lot to assess, as Jones was reportedly livid after last night’s loss.
That’s why Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe believes there wouldn’t be a possible worse match than Bill Belichick and Jerry Jones.
Talking on First Take, he addressed the rumors of Belichick being a legitimate candidate to take the reins of the Dallas Cowboys, adding that it’s ‘a match made in hell’ and doesn’t make sense at all.

Sharpe reminded everyone how Jerry Jones got rid of Belichick’s mentor, Bill Parcels, and Jimmy Johnson, who are both more similar to Belichick, personality-wise.
He stated that he hires guys like Jason Garrett or Mike McCarthy because he can still be in control and do all the talking he usually does, which is something that wouldn’t fly with coach Belichick.
Belichick has often been tight-lipped about every single thing regarding his team, whether it’s major or minor.
Jones, on the other hand, has made sure to keep the Cowboys in the news cycle with his weekly controversial remarks on radio, etc.
On top of that, Jones has always stayed in control of decision-making, and that’s just not the way Belichick takes care of business, so this could be a power struggle from day one.
