At times in the regular season, the Dallas Cowboys looked dominant, and they rode that strong play to a 12-5 record and the second seed in the NFC.

Yet many felt they had tons of pressure on them as they opened the postseason with a Wild Card round contest versus the upstart Green Bay Packers.

As some suspected, the Cowboys fell to the Packers, but the way they lost was stunning, as they fell behind 27-0 late in the second quarter and lost by a final of 48-32.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott had a lackluster performance, and on FS1’s “Speak,” Emmanuel Acho said this was the “worst loss” of his career.

It would’ve been one thing if the Cowboys had a performance like this against the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers, who eliminated them from the playoffs in both of the last two seasons and are favored to reach the Super Bowl.

But as Acho pointed out, the Packers were clearly the inferior team on paper, as they had only one All-Pro compared to nine for Dallas.

Prescott completed a solid 41 of 60 passes, but he threw two interceptions, both of them coming in the first half when Green Bay fully took control of the game.

He has a history of underperforming in big games, and the warning signs were there in the regular season with a three-interception game versus the Niners and a poor performance in a Week 15 blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.

One has to wonder where the Cowboys will go from here — fans are calling for head coach Mike McCarthy to be fired, but it’s clear Prescott may be the one holding them back.
