There are only eight teams left in contention to compete for the Super Bowl after a shocking conclusion to Wild Card Weekend.

Two of those teams – the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers – have yet to play after each secured a first-round bye for finishing with the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences.

The best teams left in the field revealed themselves not just by winning, but by how they won their games.

So as the Divisional round approaches, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith revealed his top-five Super Bowl contenders based on everything he’s seen thus far: the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs, in that order, via “First Take” on Twitter.

The only teams left off the list were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, and Houston Texans.

The top-two teams make sense, as the Ravens and 49ers proved themselves as the best teams in the NFL during the regular season and Baltimore easily beat San Francisco earlier this year.

The Bills, meanwhile, have won six consecutive games and the Lions are riding an emotional wave after beating the Los Angeles Rams at home.

Even the Chiefs, who didn’t look like themselves earlier this season, crushed the Miami Dolphins at home in a big Wild Card win.

Only the Chiefs and Bills from this list play each other in the Divisional round in what could be a defining moment for Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen’s career.

However, the Buccaneers, Packers, and Texans could all play spoiler to the other three teams after they all won their respective matchups in blowouts.
