Tuesday night could give NBA fans a preview of the next championship matchup.
The Denver Nuggets will face off against the Philadelphia 76ers and millions of people will tune in to see one of the best teams in the West battle one of the best in the East.
Speaking about the upcoming opponent, Sixers star Tyrese Maxey said that he hasn’t forgotten just how successful and talented the Nuggets are.
“The defending champs are coming here. Until somebody knocks them off, that’s what they are,” Maxey said, according to the 76ers’ Twitter account.
“It’ll be a good test for us, a good home game for us – I think it should be fun,” Maxey added.

Maxey and his team are obviously ready for a battle with one of the greatest teams in the league.
On paper, the track records for the Nuggets and 76ers are very similar: Denver is at 28-13, while the 76ers are at 25-13 and they are both the third seeds for their respective conferences.
However, only one of these teams won the Finals last season and Maxey hasn’t forgotten that.
The Nuggets may not be the top team in their conference right now, but they are still fiercely competitive and frightening to just about every other squad in the league.
As for Philadelphia, they have moved past a troubled offseason and have become a dominant force in the East.
A lot of attention will be paid to Tuesday’s game because of how strong both of these teams are.
The 76ers are coming off of winning their last two games, against the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets.
Can they score three in a row against the defending champions?
