After an inspired run to the Super Bowl last year and a solid start to the 2023 campaign, the Philadelphia Eagles fell apart in the second half of the regular season before getting crushed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the NFL playoffs during Wild Card Weekend.

With the Buccaneers dominating the Eagles in the playoffs, Philadelphia’s coaching situation has now become a hot topic of discussion, with some believing that head coach Nick Sirianni may have coached his last game for the team.

One thing is for sure in professional sports, and that’s when a team loses faith in its head coach and coaching staff, it is pretty obvious when it comes to body language and how a team plays during an important game like this one.

Sirianni has almost certainly lost the locker room in Philadelphia, with the team seemingly having no fight left in them nor a desire to support their head coach that led them to the Super Bowl last year.

Joy Taylor of FOX Sports argues that Sirianni is the one man to blame for the Eagles’ issues right now, via “Speak” on FS1.

Even though Taylor let it be known that star quarterback Jalen Hurts deserves a fair amount of blame for how this season fell apart for the Eagles, the majority of the blame needs to be directed at Sirianni, with the team looking bad for a long time and not just this playoff game.

It’ll be interesting to see if GM Howie Roseman makes the decision to fire Sirianni and pursue one of the big-name head coaches available right now or stick with him for another year.
