The Golden State Warriors can’t seem to catch a break.

What was already a complicated and tumultuous season has gotten a little worse.

According to a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, former Serbian player and assistant coach Dejan Milojevic has suffered a heart attack.

As of now, there have been no further updates or explanations about what caused this, but Serbian outlet Telegraf reports that he was rushed to a hospital after suffering the heart attack at a restaurant in Salt Lake City, where he was ahead of the Warriors’ game with the Utah Jazz.

The 46-year-old has a long career in professional basketball.

Milojevic also thrived as a player back in the day, making it to the All-Europe Second Team and earning ABA League MVP honors three times while playing with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.

This has been a nightmare of a season for the Warriors from every possible standpoint.

Losses, suspensions, injuries, and even Jonathan Kuminga calling out his coach in public have derailed a promising season, perhaps one of the few left for the dynasty.

Now, however, none of that will matter, and Djean Milovejic’s health will be first and foremost and the most important priority for the organization.
