The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies have a growing rivalry.

Both teams clearly dislike each other and leave everything on the court every time they face off; it’s just personal.

Notably, that has transcended the court, up to the point where the crowd always boos the Warriors, especially Draymond Green.

Green returned from his suspension in Memphis and was booed heavily, so he booed the crowd back.

Then, following his team’s shocking loss to the undermanned Grizzlies, Green actually revealed that they pursued him in free agency (via The Volume).

“They really hate me there, and to be honest … I love it”

Talking on his podcast, Green claimed that it would’ve been crazy to go to Memphis because of how much the fans hate him.

He added that he actually loves those boos, urging them to keep them coming.

Green claims that he loves how passionate Grizzlies fans are and that he’s had some fun times there, outside of the time when they cheered when he got injured.

The Grizzlies’ grit-and-grind tradition is something they take pride in, and the fans have also started living by it.

They’re going to try and get in the opponents’ heads night in and night out, and you know Green will clap back at them every single time he has a chance to do so.

He was tailor-made for that team and those fans, all things considered.
