When the NFL’s regular season concluded, many teams wasted no time to schedule head coaching interviews.
With several open positions, there will be a large amount of teams that will have new coaches to begin the 2024 campaign.
Dan Quinn’s name was mentioned as one to watch out for during this cycle.
He was given high praise for what he did with the Dallas Cowboys defense this season, although attitudes seemed to shift slightly after the Green Bay Packers scored 48 points on them in the playoffs.
Some thought that this performance would give teams a bad taste in their mouths about Quinn and that they would be less interested in interviewing him.
However, as Adam Schefter’s recent report indicates, that does not seem true.
Per Schefter, Quinn is slated to interview with two teams today, the Washington Commanders and the Seattle Seahawks.
Cowboys’ defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is scheduled to interview today with the Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks before having the Chargers on Friday. Quinn already interviewed Wednesday with the Panthers and Titans.

He has already interviewed with the Carolina Panthers and Tennessee Titans and has another upcoming interview with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Given the fact that there are so many openings and potential candidates, teams seem to be covering all of their bases when searching for a new head coach.
Depending on whether a coaching prospect has more of a background in offense or defense, they could swing their opinion.
While it is not guaranteed at this point, it appears that Quinn could be on his way out of Dallas, even with the announcement that Mike McCarthy is sticking around.
What destination will make the most sense for him at this point in his career?
