The NFL has four intriguing matchups coming up this weekend in the divisional round of the playoffs, and one of them will have the 13-4 Baltimore Ravens hosting the hot, upstart Houston Texans.
The Ravens are many people’s favorite to reach the Super Bowl out of the AFC, and they have the likely regular season MVP in quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Meanwhile, Houston has won eight of their last 11 games, and they’re coming off a 45-14 drubbing of the Cleveland Browns in the wild-card round.
On “What’s Wright? with Nick Wright,” Fox Sports 1 personality Nick Wright pointed out Jackson’s poor playoff record and said if he loses on Saturday, he will greatly fall in the ranking of the best AFC QBs.
“Lamar CANNOT fall to 1-4 and have another bad passing game in the postseason at home, rested as the No. 1 seed,” Wright said.
Nobody has more to lose than Lamar Jackson heading into this weekend.

Jackson had a strong regular season with a 67.2 percent completion rate while throwing 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns and adding 821 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.
He seemed to sew up the MVP award, which would be his second, by throwing for five touchdowns and no interceptions when Baltimore pulverized the Miami Dolphins 56-19 in Week 17.
But as Wright pointed out, Jackson is only 1-4 in the playoffs, and he has never gotten the Ravens to the AFC Championship Game.
On paper, they seem to have the young Texans outmatched, and they’re being favored by a wide margin in Saturday’s game, but Texans QB C.J. Stroud has been excellent this year, and there is the possibility of an upset.
It is on Jackson to back up his performance during the regular season with three strong playoff performances in order to bring home the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
