After getting a week off, the Baltimore Ravens will finally be back in action this weekend when they take on the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round of the 2023 NFL Playoffs.

The Texans were able to make light work out of the Cleveland Browns last week, but now must head on the road to play the Ravens who finished the 2023 NFL season with the best record.

Baltimore is about as steady as they come as they’re able to win games either on the back of their offense or defense.

Lamar Jackson is also in line to win his second MVP award after dominating the league with his new weapons.

Jackson is being asked to do far less with his legs this year and he’s responded with one of the most efficient seasons of his career.

Mina Kimes believes that the difference between this iteration of Baltimore’s roster is far superior to their past teams via her personal Twitter account.

“The 2019 Ravens offense was a thrill ride–but this version is much harder to game plan for bc it can kill you so many ways,” Kimes said.

2019 was the year Jackson won MVP and it was largely because of how much he kept the ball and ran for chunk plays on his own.

However, Jackson has embraced passing in the pocket more this year though he does still pull out a designed run here and there.

Offensive coordinator Todd Monken has received plenty of praise for redesigning the offense the way he did and it’s a large reason why the Ravens are Super Bowl favorites.
