Stephen A. Smith believes that Anthony Edwards has the talent to bring an NBA Championship to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the future.
Considering the Timberwolves have only made the playoffs in just 11 seasons out of their 35 years of existence in the NBA, it’s undoubtedly a bold claim by the veteran NBA analyst.
On top of that, Smith also compared his athleticism to Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and Vince Carter.
Lastly, Smith believes that Anthony Edwards could become one of the biggest, if not the biggest, attractions for fans in the NBA when he truly reaches the prime of his career.
Considering Edwards already has an impressive skill set, which he uses to torment his opponents on a nightly basis, many forget that he is playing in just the fourth year of his NBA career.
He’s putting up 26.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game for the Timberwolves this season.
