The Buffalo Bills will have many questions to answer this offseason after the team failed to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs again and exited the postseason before making it to the Super Bowl.
Personnel decisions will be the first step toward improvement in 2024, but the team will also need to name a new offensive coordinator after head coach Sean McDermott fired Ken Dorsey midway through the season and promoted quarterbacks coach Joe Brady as the interim OC.
Brady already has the endorsement of Josh Allen, though, after the Bills quarterback lauded Brady the day after Buffalo’s loss to the Chiefs.
“Love Joe. Love what he brings to this team, to our offense, the juice that he has, the passion that he has for football, how much preparation he’s put into a tough situation these last seven, eight weeks,” Allen said, via NFL Network’s James Palmer. “He’s got my vote [for offensive coordinator].”

Buffalo’s offense looked much improved and more consistent with Brady running the show as the Bills rattled off six consecutive wins before falling to the Chiefs.
But that might not be enough for McDermott and company to want to install Brady as the offensive coordinator in a full-time capacity.
Brady is also interviewing for head coaching jobs as well, including with the Atlanta Falcons.
The Bills more than likely will look around for other candidates that could take over in 2024, but their quarterback appears to prefer continuity rather than newness as Buffalo looks to correct its mistakes in the next year.
