The Golden State Warriors need to figure out their best options for turning the season around.

As the trade deadline approaches, they are facing a ton of problems and, therefore, a ton of possibilities.

Which stars will they pursue as February 8 gets closer and closer?

Jason Timpf believes the Warriors should attempt to sign Brooklyn Nets star Mikal Bridges and he thinks the addition of Bridges alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green could greatly improve the team’s chances of winning.

“Mikal Bridges is not a star, he is an outstanding role player,” Timpf said on his show, before suggesting that the Nets have no real reason to hold onto the 27-year-old player if they are given a good deal.

Timpf argued that the Nets would be right to hang onto Bridges if he was quite a bit younger and if they envisioned a future when he’d be one of the top 20 players in the league.

As it is now, Bridges is nearly 30 years old and has proven the sort of player he is.

As great as he is, Bridges is not the sort of man who can lead a team, Timpf argued.

But he can fit in perfectly with the talents of Curry, Thompson, and others.

The Nets would want a lot in return for Bridges but Timpf thinks that Jonathan Kuminga and several draft picks could do the trick and convince them to sign the paperwork.

If Bridges did make his way to Golden State, the team would greatly improve.

This is just one of the multiple options the Warriors will have before the trade deadline.

Will they try to sign Bridges or do they have other ideas in mind?
