Nick Wright Has A Strong Belief About Andy Reid’s Future

The Kansas City Chiefs have a chance to do something not many teams have been able to do: Win back-to-back Super Bowls.

Pundits doubted they could pull it off even before the start of the season.

And watching them struggle throughout the course of the campaign didn’t do much to appease those doubts.

That’s why the Chiefs winning the whole thing this season would only be yet another point of Andy Reid’s greatness as a coach and Patrick Mahomes’ rightful place in the NFL hierarchy.

With that in mind, Nick Wright just doesn’t see Andy Reid retiring if they win another Super Bowl this season.

Talking to Colin Cowherd for The Volume, Wright explained that winning back-to-back rings could change everything in Kansas City.

He believes that it would make all the players and everybody involved with the team realize that they could take a privileged spot in NFL history, which is why they would continue to keep the band together to try and run it back and do something that has never been done, which is winning three rings in a row.

The Chiefs should already be considered a dynasty, or they’re at least knocking on the door.

Coach Reid isn’t getting any younger, and he’s 65 years old already, so questions about his future are expected at this point in his career, especially after accomplishing everything possible.

Then again, having an opportunity to keep climbing and raising the bar even higher could be appealing enough for the veteran coach to stay around for a little longer.
