The San Francisco 49ers find themselves back in the NFC Championship Game this year but are considered the favorites to advance to Super Bowl LVIII.
The 49ers will take on the Detroit Lions who have become the darlings of the 2023 NFL Playoffs after their emotional and dramatic wins back at Ford Field.
San Francisco and Detroit boast excellent offenses and defensive lines, making this arguably the more intriguing game on Sunday.
Brock Purdy has been playing great football and is proving any doubters wrong about his viability in the postseason.
Purdy was able to lead the 49ers to a comeback win against the Green Bay Packers last week, and he did it without Deebo Samuel who was ruled out after the first half due to a shoulder injury.
However, Samuel says he is ready to go for the Lions game and Purdy made his thoughts clear on what he means to the team.
“Deebo’s a game changer,” Purdy said.
“Alright, it’s on.”

In the video clip, Purdy says that Samuel gives the offense some extra juice and looks good running around at practice.
Samuel is a unique wideout because of his size and physicality in the open field as he can routinely make defenders look silly when they try to bring him down.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan likes to line up Samuel all over the line of scrimmage, starting from outside the numbers and all the way into the backfield.
The Lions secondary has been exploitable and they’ll have their hands full trying to contain a healthy Samuel.
