Superstar forward Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns hasn’t exactly left the teams he’s played for during his NBA career on good terms, with stops ending poorly as he’s either left in free agency or forced his way out by asking to be traded.

Durant’s last stop with the Brooklyn Nets was probably the worst of his career, as it was a mess from start to finish after he joined forces with fellow superstar Kyrie Irving.

Even though it looked like Durant and Irving would turn the franchise into a perennial title contender in the Eastern Conference, things took a turn for the worst, leading to both players eventually asking to be traded.

With Durant’s stint with the Nets being forgettable, to say the least, the veteran forward said he doesn’t want a tribute video from the team when he plays in Brooklyn, which created a bit of a stir on Twitter with the two-time champion sharing his two cents on the subject via NBA Central.

“Please don’t, the night will be better without it,” Durant posted.

Durant can’t help himself when it comes to responding to things like this on social media, as he’s always getting involved in some kind of war of words with fans and the media.

Even though Durant knows this impacts the way fans view him, he doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon, but at least he’s found a home with the Suns and might have a chance to win another title as part of a three-headed monster in Phoenix including Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
