The Baltimore Ravens had the ultimate chance to get over the hump.
They hosted the AFC Championship Game in the midst of Lamar Jackson’s MVP season and faced the worst Kansas City Chiefs team of the Andy Reid era.
And while they did a great job of keeping them in check and staying in the game, they just couldn’t get the job done on offense.
That’s why, following the loss, former Chiefs star Tyreek Hill took to Twitter to express how bad he felt for Lamar.
“I’m sick for Lamar though,” Hill said.

The Miami Dolphins star also had some praise for Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.
Notably, all the narrative around Jackson is going to get quite noisy.
He’s now 2-4 in his postseason career, and all the doubts about whether he could win with his style of play will resurface.
Jackson made a lot of noise in the offseason for his contract negotiations and the fact that the Baltimore Ravens made him available, and multiple teams actively stepped up to say that they weren’t interested in his services.
He still managed to get the deal he was looking for, but his legacy may have taken a big hit in the most crucial campaign of his career.
Lamar Jackson will continue to be considered one of the best players in the game and the best dual-threat quarterback of all time, at least until proven otherwise.
But it’s going to be quite tough to convince people that he can get the job done when it matters the most.
