The Green Bay Packers were one of the biggest question marks in the league this season.
Aaron Rodgers’ departure made most people think that they would have a tough time staying in the postseason race, let alone winning their division.
And while there were some struggles in the campaign, Matt LaFleur’s team was able to rally late and finish the season strong to reach the NFC Divisional Round.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Damien Woody believes Jordan Love could be in the mix for MVP next season.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, Woody talked about how he would be his way-too-early candidate to take home the top individual distinction in the league.
“If there’s a guy that I’m putting money on for early MVP next year, he’s the guy,” Woody said.

This might sound crazy or early, but it’s not far-fetched at all.
Love was one of the best quarterbacks in the game in the final three weeks of the regular season, earning back-to-back NFC Player of the Week awards.
He was poised and in full control when given time on the pocket, making big play after big play and big throw after big throw.
It wasn’t always pretty, but the first-year starter left a great impression on the fan base once he got it together.
His connection with both Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs is one of the most promising in the league, and his teammates raved about his leadership and work ethic, so you know he’s going to keep getting better.
The Packers have found their guy and, barring injury, he should be in the mix for MVP sooner rather than later, perhaps even next season.
