The Phoenix Suns went all in to trade for Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards last summer in hopes of creating a new superteam.
After all, there is hardly any fan in the NBA who wouldn’t consider the trio of Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker a force to be reckoned with in the league.
However, the Suns’ hopes of dominating the league haven’t really been fulfilled, primarily due to Bradley Beal missing a lot of games because of injuries this season.
While the Suns are currently at full strength with the Big 3 of Beal, Durant, and Booker completely healthy, the former Wizards star is struggling to play well.
A perfect example of this was Beal’s underwhelming performance against the Atlanta Hawks.
After having an awful shooting night, Beal shared his views on his performance via Duane Rankin on Twitter.
“It sucks man,” Beal said.
“It sucks man. I’d be naive if I said it doesnt have a little effect. Still got to go hoop.”

Bradley Beal has been extremely unlucky throughout the 2023-24 NBA season.
Beal claimed that his nose injury was aggravated during the Friday night matchup against the Hawks, which ultimately had an impact on his performance.
While it’s true that a hit to the nose can take away the focus of any player on the court, it still doesn’t take away the fact that Beal had a terrible shooting night.
He finished the game with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 10 assists while shooting a terrible 5-16 from the field, including a 0-7 performance from the three-point line.
Following the defeat, the Suns are now the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 28-21 record in the 2023-24 NBA season.
