The Los Angeles Lakers have remained inconsistent throughout the 2023-24 NBA season.
However, there have been times when the Lakers have undoubtedly proven that the current roster of the team is capable of making a deep run in the playoffs.
A perfect example of this was the Lakers’ recent win over the New York Knicks after defeating the Boston Celtics in the previous game.
Playing the Knicks away from home is always a tough assignment for any team in the NBA.
LeBron James shared his honest reaction to registering a win over the Knicks via New York Basketball on Twitter.

James began by appreciating the opportunity to play competitive basketball at the highest level, especially when the Knicks are winning.
Prior to playing against the Lakers, the Knicks were on a nine-game winning streak, but the Purple and Gold put an end to their great run.
James finished his answer by expressing his happiness to be a part of the Mecca of Basketball, where every possession is meaningful throughout the game.
Speaking of his performance, James contributed 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 40 minutes of playing time against the Knicks.
Thanks to James’ excellent performance, the Lakers managed to register a 113-105 win over the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Lakers are now on a two-game winning streak prior to playing the Charlotte Hornets in their next matchup.
The Lakers are currently the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 26-25 record, so there is definitely a scope of improvement for the team.
