Analyst Uses 1 Word To Describe Brock Purdy

The San Francisco 49ers have more talent on offense than any other team in the league.

GM John Lynch and HC Kyle Shanahan have put together a video game-like roster, and they have more than enough resources to take down any team in the league on any given night.

Then again, they clearly don’t have the edge at the quarterback position if you compare them to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brock Purdy doesn’t have the physical traits, athleticism, or flashy plays as, say, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, let alone Patrick Mahomes.

However, he’s proven over and over that he’s a winner, which is more than most quarterbacks can say.

At least, that’s how NFL analyst Craig Carton feels about him.

“Brock Purdy is a winner,” Carton said.

“Brock Purdy is a winner.”

Talking on The Carton Show, the analyst compared him to Eli Manning, who wasn’t the best quarterback in the league during his prime, yet he proved to be a winner, taking home two Super Bowls against Tom Brady and the almighty New England Patriots.

Purdy might not be a superstar by any means, at least not right now.

Still, he does all the little things at a high level, and he’s tailor-made for Shanahan’s creative and innovative offensive system.

The Niners didn’t need a superstar to take them to the Super Bowl.

They needed a guy who could make some plays when needed, and Purdy was elite when the season was on the line for them.

Unfortunately, he might never get the credit he deserves because of his elite supporting cast, but he’ll definitely get all the blame.
