With the Super Bowl just around the corner, the NFL is at the forefront of every single sports-related conversation.
Even NBA stars have shared their two cents on the big game, the most prominent sporting event of the year.
Notably, that includes Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, who recently chatted with Ryan Clark and the Inside the NFL crew ahead of the Super Bowl.
Barkley told the story of how he actually played football for one day, adding that it just wasn’t ‘his cup of tea.’
Truth to form, Barkley claimed that there was ‘zero talent to that’ after being lined up as a defensive tackle and just running at full speed against another guy for hours, adding that he wasn’t going to do that ever again.

Basketball fans should be thankful for this.
The Auburn product went on to become one of the single-greatest players in NBA history, a legendary power forward, and one of the best undersized rebounders this game has ever seen.
Prime Barkley was a menace, someone who could bully his way into the restricted area but who could also make an impact with his passing and fine footwork.
Barkley was one of Michael Jordan’s victims in the sense that he had to retire ringless because of how dominant the Chicago Bulls legend was, even losing to him in the NBA Finals once.
Still, he wound up making it to the Hall of Fame and earning praise for everything he accomplished in the league, which may not have been the case if he had decided to stick to football.
