The Kansas City Chiefs have become a fixture in the Super Bowl as they’ll make their third appearance in four years this coming Sunday in Super Bowl LVIII.
The Chiefs ran away with the AFC West during the 2023 NFL season and although they didn’t finish as the No. 1 overall seed heading into the playoffs, they knocked off the Baltimore Ravens to prove they were the best team in the conference all along.
Kansas City has a chance to make history if they can beat the San Francisco 49ers as they’ll become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots did it in 2004 and 2005.
For Patrick Mahomes, a win would mean his third Super Bowl ring and put him one step closer to reaching Tom Brady’s record of seven.
Mahomes is the clear-cut best quarterback in the league and at the age of 28, he still has plenty of prime years left in his career.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport believes that Mahomes will end up with more titles and wouldn’t rule out him and the Chiefs being in the Super Bowl every season after this one via Sports Radio 810 WHB.
“Ian Rapoport told @SorenPetro that if he had to guess, Mahomes will win 6 or 7 Super Bowls in his career. He adds “Might they be here every year, very possible.”

It feels like a stretch to say that Kansas City will make the Super Bowl every year, but Mahomes makes them a contender when he’s healthy.
Barring a major collapse, Mahomes has a chance to go on a run that the NFL’s never seen before.
