The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will square off in a star-studded matchup.
And as much as people talk about Patrick Mahomes, Deebo Samuel, Travis Kelce, and Christian McCaffrey — and rightfully so — some believe neither of them will be the best player on the field come Sunday.
Niners’ OT Trent Williams is one of the most dominant players of his generation, and his impact is even more evident when he’s not around.
That’s why Chiefs star DT Chris Jones Jr. admitted that he’s actually a little nervous about facing him (via 49ers on NBC Sports).
“He’s scary. He’s vicious. … I’m a little nervous, man,” Jones said.

Talking ahead of the big game, the perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate called Williams a ‘scary’ and vicious player, adding that he’s obviously a big concern.
That should mean a lot, coming from one of the most disruptive and physical defensive forces in the league, especially if you consider the fact that he’s also a bit of a trash-talker.
The Niners and Chiefs have so much firepower, and it’s not a coincidence that they’ve made it all the way to the last game of the season.
Kyle Shanahan’s team is favored by 2.5 points for this game, which speaks volumes about the plethora of talent GM John Lynch has stacked on both sides of the field.
They’ve been favored in every single game this season.
Then again, the defending Super Bowl champions are no regular underdog by any means, and it feels like this epic matchup is going to be a toss-up.
