The Kansas City Chiefs have stolen all the headlines this season, and not just for what they’ve done on the field.
The reigning Super Bowl champions can now brag about having the support of perhaps the most famous person on the face of the Earth, as pop superstar Taylor Swift is dating Travis Kelce.
Notably, this hasn’t been the first public relationship of either, yet the social media frenzy has reached an all-time high.
Perhaps, that has to do with the fact that Swift is at the peak of her fame.
However, Kelce believes it has to do with their nature as people and as a couple.
When asked about why people have been so captivated by their relationship, the future Hall of Famer told The Sporting News that it was because of what they were about and how they love life.
“I think the values that we stand for. … We both have a love for life,” Kelce said.

Needless to say, it hasn’t all been positive, though.
A significant number of NFL fans have called the league out over their constant exposure of Swift and how they’ve exhaustedly tried to show her as early and as often as possible during games.
Then again, we cannot ignore the fact that we’re talking about one of the most lucrative businesses on Earth.
Not making the most of this opportunity to get free marketing and PR would be a disservice to the league.
Hopefully, they’ll have a long and loving relationship, and the fans will have no choice but to get used to it.
