The NBA trade deadline is quickly approaching, which means that teams all over the league have only a few hours to make trades or stick with the rosters they have until the end of the season.
On Wednesday, the Boston Celtics made a change and landed forward Xavier Tillman, formally of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Beyond that trade, the Celtics might be done, according to Jake Fischer.
On Twitter, Fischer said that Boston is “done making moves before today’s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.”
Fischer said that other teams in the Eastern Conference, such as the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, and Detroit Pistons, could still pursue trades but the Celtics are all done.
Barring a surprise, sounds like Boston is done making moves before today’s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline. League personnel are still waiting to see what defensive upgrade(s) come for Milwaukee, after the Bucks may have cast the widest net of any buyer in the NBA these past few weeks.

While fans all over the world are hoping their teams do something substantial before the trade deadline, followers of the Celtics are happy that Boston isn’t doing much.
That’s because they are already the best team in the league with a 39-12 record.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are currently poised to go far in the playoffs.
The Celtics aren’t making major moves because they simply do not have to.
However, they may end up regretting that choice if other teams in the Eastern Conference get much better by the end of Thursday.
The team’s front office is surely keeping a close eye on the Bucks and Knicks, who could improve their roster and playoff chances with just a few trades.
Attention is also being paid to the Philadelphia 76ers, who are currently in a tough place without Joel Embiid.
So while the Celtics are going to remain still for the deadline, other teams will not and that could complicate things in the East.
