The Dallas Cowboys haven’t been to the big game in almost three decades.
They’ve become a running joke more for how they always hype their fans up before letting them down in the playoffs, and they were right on cue this season.
Despite some criticism for their performances against winning teams, the Cowboys were still firmly expected to make a deep postseason run, especially considering the fact that they could have had two games at home, where they had won 16 straight.
As you may know by now, that wasn’t the case, as the seventh-seeded Geren Bay Packers took care of them.
Fast forward to today, and team owner Jerry Jones vowed to the fans to do everything possible to make things right.
Talking ahead of the NFL awards, the business mogul stated that they are gonna change things (via Awful Announcing).
“Believe you me, no one in the world is more appreciative of how much we let the fans down by not getting it done against Green Bay,” Jones said.

Jones has already claimed that the team will go all-in in the offseason as well.
Nonetheless, the fans might find it tough to trust him right now, as a team going all-in would’ve pursued Bill Belichick or Jim Harbaugh instead of running it back with Mike McCarthy.
Also, Dak Prescott couldn’t take care of business in the best season of his career, so it’s hard to think he’s going to get any better at this point.
The Cowboys have almost everything they need to get over the hump, personnel-wise; they might just need someone else making all the calls.
