The San Francisco 49ers already had one of the best teams in the league.
Then, they traded for Christian McCaffrey.
The rich always get richer, and the Niners are wealthy right now.
That’s why NFL analyst Jamie Erdahl believes the reigning Offensive Player of the Year could become the face of Super Bowl LVIII.
Talking on “Good Morning Football,” she claimed that the Niners would need him to play in a way he’s never played if they want to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.
She also talked about his time with the Carolina Panthers, a time in which he dominated when he was healthy, but that wasn’t very often.

Moreover, the Panthers also weren’t winning a lot of football games.
McCaffrey clearly outgrew the Panthers and earned every single right to play with the most stacked offensive juggernaut in the game.
He’s become their most important and impactful player from the very second his plane landed in the Bay Area, and they wouldn’t have made it this far if it wasn’t for him.
The Chiefs boast an elite defense under defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, and they definitely know how to stop the run.
Then again, we’re talking about perhaps the most dynamic offensive playmaker in the game right now, a guy who cannot be bottled up because of his versatility, and who’ll most definitely find a way to make his presence felt on the gridiron.
Whether that’ll be enough to win the big game, we’ll have to wait and see.
