Patrick Beverley is once again on his way to a new NBA team and he really wants to play as soon as possible.
On Thursday, Beverley was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, as the Philadelphia 76ers received Cameron Payne and a second-round pick.
Usually, players who are traded have to wait a few days to go through medical evaluations and travel before they can play for their new teams.
But Beverley doesn’t want to wait any longer.
On Friday morning, he tweeted: “Somebody tell Cam Payne take his physical. I’m trying to play tonight.”

The Bucks are indeed scheduled to play on Friday night, ready to battle against the Charlotte Hornets at home.
Milwaukee would love Beverley’s help because they have lost three games in a row and have been going through a transitional period with new head coach Doc Rivers leading the way.
Beverley has averaged 6.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists for the Sixers so far this season.
The Bucks are just the latest franchise to add Beverley, who has bounced all over the league during the last several seasons.
He played for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2021-22 and then moved on to the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, and finally the 76ers.
Now the question is: How long will he stay with the Bucks and how will they use his unique style of defensive fearlessness and aggression?
As for Payne, he only spent 47 games playing for the Bucks after coming from the Phoenix Suns last season.
He saw limited output during his time with Milwaukee, producing 6.2 points compared to his 10.3 last year when he was still with the Suns.
This is the sort of trade that could give both players a chance to shine brighter than they have recently.
But before that can happen, Payne apparently has to finish his physical.
