Kobe Bryant spent his entire 20-year career in the NBA playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
During his time with the team, he helped them win five NBA Championships.
Ever since Bryant tragically passed away in a helicopter crash in 2020, the organization has done everything in its power to honor the late NBA legend.
Another example of this was the franchise unveiling a Kobe Bryant statue outside of Crypto.com Arena.
While most fans were focused on the Lakers’ gesture for Bryant, Nike decided to honor the five-time NBA champion by releasing a new billboard for him, as revealed via Complex Sneakers on Twitter.
“The statue is down there. The bar is up here,” the billboard reads.

The shoe company released the billboard while keeping Bryant’s statue in mind.
Nike certainly did a great job of making the billboard memorable with just a couple of lines.
Bryant may have started out as an athlete for Adidas, but he switched to Nike in 2003.
After that, the Lakers superstar remained an athlete for Nike for the rest of his playing career.
Considering Bryant’s immense popularity among basketball fans, it’s no surprise that he had his own signature shoe line with the company.
The Lakers will continue to honor the franchise legend as two more Kobe Bryant statues are yet to be unveiled by the organization.
