The Kansas City Chiefs have been there and done that too many times already.
Making it to the Super Bowl again wasn’t a goal but an obligation at this point, as they’re now striving for something bigger.
With that in mind, Patrick Mahomes wanted to make sure to be at his finest ahead of the big game.
That’s why he got some custom-made cleats that have now gone viral for their design (via Complex Sneakers).

Mahomes will wear white cleats with a gold design and his logo on the back, and they’re just incredible.
Needless to say, it’ll be all about what he’s actually going to do with those cleats, but it’s not like he has anything left to prove at this point in this career.
This will be Mahomes’ fourth Super Bowl appearance in just six years as a starter, and he’ll look to get his postseason record to a whopping 15-3.
Thus far, just two quarterbacks can brag about sending Mahomes home empty-handed in the playoffs, and those two are Joe Burrow and Tom Brady (twice), and he’s never lost before the AFC Championship Game.
Mahomes is now chasing something bigger; it’s all about legacy and destiny.
He’s already secured a spot in the Hall of Fame despite still having well over a decade of football ahead of him, and every playoff win will only get him closer to the ghost he’s chasing.
That ghost wore No. 12 and played for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won seven titles.
