One thing that separates the great players from the rest of the athletes in the NBA is their ability to deliver during the most critical moments of the game.
Stephen Curry showed his greatness during the Golden State Warriors’ recent matchup against the Phoenix Suns.
Considering each game is extremely important for the Warriors at this point in the season, they cannot afford to let their momentum in recent weeks be broken.
With that thought in mind, Stephen Curry nailed a phenomenal game-winner against the Suns in the dying seconds of the game.
Following Curry’s crucial shot, the Warriors led the game 113-112 with just 0.7 seconds left on the clock.
Curry’s shot helped the Warriors seal the victory, and Suns guard Devin Booker shared his honest thoughts on the play in the postgame conference via Duane Rankin on Twitter.
“It’s tough, but I’d rather it happen now than later in the season. I think it’s a learning experience. In that situation, you can’t give up a 3, especially to Steph Curry,” Booker said.

Of course, Booker wanted to win the game, but he was he was relieved about Curry’s game-winner because of one reason.
He is happy that Curry defeated them with the clutch shot during the regular season rather than come playoff time.
After all, a game-winner of that nature in the postseason is more than enough to demoralize the entire team for the rest of the series.
Booker also pointed out that the Suns will be wary of presenting such a good look from the three-point line in the future.
The Suns star claimed the organization will take extra precautions from the situation for Stephen Curry in hopes of getting a different result if the two teams face off against each other next time.
