The Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson looked like they were heading toward an imminent divorce.
That might no longer be the case, as a new report stated that the team could look to keep him around for the long run as long as he agrees to restructure his contract.
Even so, the Broncos — tied with the Las Vegas Raiders — only have the second-highest odds of having him on their roster next season.
According to Zac Stevens, the Atlanta Falcons are currently the odds-on favorite to acquire his services right now.

Notably, all three of these teams make sense for Wilson.
He’s already established himself in Denver, so having a chance to stay there would make sense, although it will be hard to forget about the disrespect and all the narratives around him since he arrived in Mile High, especially given the way Sean Payton has treated him.
The Raiders, on the other hand, could give him a prime opportunity to get back at the Broncos, as he’d face them twice a year in the AFC West Division.
Last but not least, he could be a stopgap for the Atlanta Falcons while having virtually no competition for the QB position while they continue their pursuit of a Matt Ryan replacement for the long run.
Whatever the case, Wilson will have to prove that he’s not done in this league, and that’s going to be the tricky part, as he has been far from his best since he left Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks.
