Divisional rivalries tend to make games more fun in any sport.
In the NFL, divisional games are something that many players and fans look forward to, as they have more familiarity with those opponents, seeing they play them twice per year.
There are more heated divisional rivalries than others, and in those games, there is typically a lot of trash talk.
Players are looking for any possible way to get into the heads of their opponents, and this is usually a good way to do that.
However, while trash-talking is real, athletes tend to recognize when their opponents are doing great things.
This was put on full display recently when CeeDee Lamb was talking about a divisional rival in a recent appearance on “The Edge” podcast.
Lamb sang the praises of young receiver Wan’Dale Robinson, saying, “You know who’s really a sleeper? Wan’Dale Robinson from New York.”

Lamb added, “He’s so fast, he’s so nice, his routes are crazy.”
This is high praise coming from a player like Lamb, who is widely viewed as one of the best receivers in the league.
Game recognizes game, so to speak.
Lamb’s recent comments continue to illustrate the respect that NFL players have for one another.
Yes, they might hate each other on the field, but at the end of the day, they are all football players.
They get to play the sport they love for a living, which is a bond that unites them, even in the face of chaos or a heated playoff battle.
