The Milwaukee Bucks finished the 2022-23 NBA season as the first seed in the Eastern Conference.
Despite having the best record in the conference last season, the Bucks failed to impress in the postseason as they were eliminated in the first round by the Miami Heat.
The Bucks ensured to improve their roster during the offseason by adding Damian Lillard.
For what it’s worth, the Bucks had a decent record until they fired head coach Adrian Griffin.
Since Doc Rivers took over the coaching duties from Griffin, the Bucks have struggled to play well in the season, and it’s evident from their back-to-back losses heading into the NBA All-Star break.
Keeping that in mind, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal made a concerning prediction about the Bucks via NBA on TNT on Twitter.
“The way they’re playing right now, they gonna get swept in the first round,” O’Neal said.

Shaquille O’Neal didn’t mince his words about the Bucks’ terrible performance ahead of the NBA All-Star break.
O’Neal went as far as saying that if the Bucks do not change the way they are playing, they could get eliminated in the opening round of the 2024 playoffs.
Considering the Bucks suffered a similar fate last season, it has become an important task for coach Rivers to avoid the situation from repeating again.
As of now, the Bucks remain the third seed in the Eastern Conference, with a 35-21 record this season.
However, they are only a couple of losses away from slipping down a few spots in the Eastern Conference.
Can the Bucks get back on track after the NBA All-Star break? Only time will tell.
