The Phoenix Suns are in the inner circle of contenders as their big three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal have found their rhythm on the floor.

At 33-22, the Suns are fifth in the Western Conference but would definitely be the team most postseason hopefuls would like to avoid in the first round.

Phoenix may be a little short on depth, but their collective star power makes them a tough out versus any opponent.

Durant is finally in the twilight of his career and this season could be his best chance to capture his third NBA title.

The superstar has been one of the faces of the league for the better part of a decade, but the next generation of stars is looking ready to take over sooner rather than later.

During All-Star Weekend, Durant listed players who he believes can serve as the face of the league via Duane Rankin of AZ Central.

“Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Anthony Edwards, Devin Booker, Luka Doncic, Tyrese Maxey, Tyrese Haliburton,” Durant said.

Luka Doncic is the best player in the group and has been one of the most clutch performers in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, young stars like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Anthony Edwards are scoring studs that have the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves, respectively, in the championship hunt.

Durant’s teammate Devin Booker has an aesthetically pleasing game and has made strides as a playmaker.

Lastly in the East, Tyrese Haliburton and Tyrese Maxey are perennial All-Stars with exciting and flashy games at the guard spots.
