The Milwaukee Bucks had better chances to win the three-point shootout than any other team, as they had two representatives in the contest.
Malik Beasley, however, was eliminated in the first round with just 20 points.
Fortunately for them, they had Damian Lillard out there to save the day, and he definitely didn’t disappoint.
The perennial All-Star shined with a 26-point first round to even things up with Tyrese Haliburton, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Trae Young.
Then, he took care of business in the final round in the most Damian Lillard fashion one could imagine.
He had multiple chances to take the lead with the final rack, yet he got ice-cold after a very impressive performance in the first four racks.
Finally, as the time expired, his clutch gene was once again on full display, knocking down the final shot to secure his second crown in as many years.
That’s why his star teammate, Giannis Antetokounmpo, took to Twitter to praise him with his signature ‘Dame Time’ celebration.

Unfortunately, Lillard hasn’t been doing a lot of Dame timing lately.
His first season away from Portland has been rather disappointing, struggling mightily on defense and failing to be at his most efficient self on offense.
Giannis and Lillard are obviously the kind of duo that could get hot and dominate almost every single opponent, but it seems like they haven’t meshed all that well on the court, and the clock is ticking on them.
