The Milwaukee Bucks have a big problem on their hands.
They haven’t been the same elite defensive team of old, and some have pointed the finger at Damian Lillard.
He’s obviously nowhere near Jrue Holiday in terms of being a backcourt stopper, but he shouldn’t be the only one to blame for their defensive miscues.
There were some rumors about Giannis Antetokounmpo being unhappy with Lillard and the way he’s performed since arriving in Wisconsin.
That’s why he wanted to set the record straight and let everybody know that he’s riding with his star teammate until the end (via Eric Nehm and Legion Hoops).

Antetokounpmo has called his teammates out multiple times this season, demanding a bigger effort from them.
Lillard’s numbers and level of play have taken a dip since he left Portland, but he’s still one of the best scorers and players in the game.
Also, with one-third of the season ahead of us, the Bucks could still figure things out and get hot when it matters the most.
Having two 30+ points per game scorers on the same team makes the Bucks a legitimate dark horse to come out of the Eastern Conference.
Hopefully, Doc Rivers will be able to unleash their potential, as there’s just no way to stop Lillard on the perimeter without leaving Giannis wide open in the paint and vice versa, yet it seems like they haven’t developed a strong rapport on the court yet.
Still, you definitely don’t want to see them in the playoffs.
