Giannis Antetokounmpo has propelled the Milwaukee Bucks to being one of the best teams in the NBA since his rise to stardom.
He even led the Bucks to the 2021 NBA Championship, but since then, the Bucks have struggled to repeat the same level of success in the league.
In fact, the Bucks were eliminated from the 2023 playoffs in the first round despite being the number-one seed.
Keeping that in mind, the Bucks were expected to dominate this season and play with a chip on their shoulders.
Although they succeeded in doing so during the start of the season, they have struggled to play well since Doc Rivers took over as the head coach of the team.
Antetokounmpo addressed the Bucks’ struggles, per Eric Nehm via Legion Hoops on Twitter.
“Things are not going to be given to us. We have to go and take it.” Antetokounmpo said.
Giannis Antetokounmpo on the Bucks’ struggles:
“We have to stop feeling bad about ourselves. I’m tired of this. We have to stop doing that. Things are not going to be given to us. We have to go and take it.”

Antetokounmpo is undoubtedly the leader of the Bucks, and his mentality will be regarded as the blueprint for the rest of the team.
Considering that, Antetokounmpo wants the players to stop feeling bad about themselves.
Instead, he wants them to regroup and snatch the things that they want to achieve this season.
Antetokounmpo is correct about the lack of aggressiveness in the Bucks’ players in recent weeks.
The Bucks entered the NBA All-Star break on the heels of a two-game losing streak.
Moreover, they have an underwhelming 3-7 record in the last 10 games of the season.
The Bucks still have a 35-21 record as they remain the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
So, all hope is not lost for the organization for the remainder of the season.
