The Dallas Cowboys had one of the more electric offenses in the 2023 NFL season, though it didn’t mean much in the end as they got bounced out of the Wild Card Round.
The Cowboys had the makings of a Super Bowl contender after they found a groove on both sides of the field, but the Green Bay Packers ended up being too much of a challenge for them.
Heading into 2024, Dallas has most of their core pieces intact and should be able to make another playoff run assuming good health.
Dak Prescott is expected to remain as the team’s starting quarterback, while CeeDee Lamb will act as his go-to option.
Jake Ferguson has established himself as a reliable target for Prescott in the passing game and should see an elevated role as well.
Ferguson’s been one of the better under-the-radar tight ends in the league but he acknowledged that what Travis Kelce and George Kittle are doing is different from everyone else at the position via NFL Total Access.
“They are changing the game for us,” Ferguson said.

Kelce and Kittle just faced off against each other in Super Bowl LVIII, though it was the former that ended up winning the title.
However, that shouldn’t take away from what Kittle’s able to do with the ball in his hands and he’s also considered the best blocking tight end in the league.
Tight ends are generally afterthoughts in offenses, but players like Kelce and Kittle give their respective teams the ability to create mismatches and tricky alignments whenever they’re out on the field.
